Meet the Artists
Saturday Dec. 12th
Pine Tree Barn has a long tradition of carrying items from the best Ohio Artisans in our Heritage Loft. We are pleased to give you the opportunity to meet some of our Fine Ohio Crafts Men and Women. On Saturday Dec 12th, join us in the loft to chat with our featured artists. Learn a little about them and the history of their craft, and it's relevance in today's world. Many of their items are one of a kind or small production, so if your looking for a gift for yourself or someone who "already has everything" - it's a perfect time to do a little shopping.

Julie Dawson from Orchard Canyon Heirlooms will be joining us in the loft all day on Saturday. Read the article written about Julie in Country Woman. The folks at Orchard Canyon Heirlooms keep an American craft alive. They hand bend, solder, and snip tinplate into the highest quality tin cookie cutters and accessories available today. They recreate a product unique to Colonial and Early American tinsmiths. Few tinsmiths continue to offer this truly American style of cutter. |
| Guest artist Jason Bove from Bove Pottery will also be here on Saturday. Jason creates his functional stoneware from his studio in Oregonia, Ohio. Pine Tree elves personally reccomend his Bread Pan & accompanying monkey bread recipe...yum! |

Whimsical Workshop, a husband and wife team from Ohio. Lynn
Bresciani does the carving and painting. Bert
Neill does all the molding, casting, and
preparing of the pieces. Each of their pieces begin with an original wood
carving or clay sculpture, then a silicone mold
is made, from which they cast their resin
reproductions. They use a 9 to 12 step process
to hand craft each one of their unique pieces.
