We kick off the season during our Christmas Open House - always the first weekend of November. All 25,000 square feet of The Barn is chock full of holiday goodies that will make your home its festive best! This is also your first opportunity to ride our horse-drawn wagons or Pine Tree Express cabooses to the fields to find and pre-tag your favorite Christmas tree. Not sure what kind of tree is best for you? Here are some tips on choosing your perfect Real Christmas Tree. On Thanksgiving weekend...Celebrate an old-fashioned Christmas with a family tradition of riding through the fields on a horse-drawn wagon to choose and cut your family's Christmas tree. Beginning Thanksgiving weekend, ride horse-drawn wagons or our Pine Tree Express cabooses to the fields to cut your own tree (weekends only, beginning Thanksgiving Weekend - call for specific dates)! Or, if your prefer, Precut trees also are available in our Tree Barn. This is also a comfortable place for you to warm up, and enjoy a light lunch of hot sandwiches, hot dogs, chips and a hot cocoa or coffee, as well as our homemade brownies and cookies! Or, if you prefer, enjoy a relaxing lunch in The Granary, Pine Tree's gourmet lunch restaurant. Afterward, explore all 25,000 square feet of the restored Dutch bank barn's nooks and crannies, where you'll find some of the most amazing Christmas goodies, gifts and fine home furnishings in Ohio! We'd love to share our secrets on fresh cut Christmas Tree care to help keep your tree looking it's best throughout the season. Finding the Perfect Christmas Tree"GO GREEN!" by choosing a REAL Christmas tree. There's no fresher tree in Ohio!We have fresh-cut or cut-your-own trees. Saws are provided. Tree carts are available, too! (First come, first-served). All trees are shaken and bailed at no charge. Twine is provided for tying the tree to your rooftop. Don't forget: we now have two locations to get your fresh, farm grown tree! Note: For the safety of our customers, no cut-your-own trees after dusk! Horse-drawn wagons run 10AM till 4PM. Don't forget to bring your camera! |
