Home > Locations

We are one of the largest Christmas tree farms in Ohio. We offer two locations where you can choose trees.

Pine Tree: The Original Farmstead.

  • Over 60 acres of Choose & Cut trees. Choose & Cut not your thing? We have a 4,000 sq ft barn full of fresh-cut trees to choose from, too.

  • Enjoy the historic 25,000 sq. ft. farmstead barn for gourmet lunch, fabulous Christmas decorations, gifts, boutique and fine home furnishings! For Trees, head to the Tree Barn next door for Choose-and-cut or pre-cut trees. Horse-drawn wagon rides and caboose rides (select weekends – see calendar).

  • Hungry, but just need a quick bite?  Visit the "Village Cafe & Workshops" located in the "Christmas Tree Barn", where you can enjoy light lunch, cocoa and cookies while you warm up after returning from a day in the fields.

  • Extended Holiday Hours as Follows: Historic Barn, Gift Shop and Granary Restaurant - Open 7 Days a week, (excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas):  Sun - Wed 9-5. Thu - Sat 9-6.  Lunch served daily 11-2:30.

  • Extended Holiday Hours as Follows: Christmas Tree Sales  (Next door in the "Christmas Tree Barn" - Open 7 Days a week, (excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas):  Sun - Wed 9-5. Thu - Sat 9-6

  • From Route 30, take SR 3 South, then bear left on SR 226. The Pine Tree Barn Original Farmstead is 2 miles on the left.

Valley Road: “Just around the corner!”

  • Just want a tree? This is the place. No crowds. No wagon rides. No gift shop or food. Just beautiful Fraser Fir, Blue Spruce and more – up to 12 feet! The Valley Road Farm is Choose & Cut only. Shaking and baling is available – and free! Cash, check, Visa/MC and Discover accepted! Located adjacent to the Original Farmstead, on Valley Road. From Route 30, take SR 3 South, then bear left on SR 226. Travel 1.5 miles, then turn left on Valley Road. The Valley Road Farm fields are .5 mile on the right.

  • The Valley Road Tree Farm Fields are only open on weekends, and only through the middle of December.

Best of both Worlds:

  • Park at Pine Tree Original Farmstead and take the Little Red Bus shuttle from Pine Tree to Valley Road.  Click HERE for map and directions.

Hours, Tips, Suggestions and a Few Pesky Rules...

  • Choose & Cut hours: 9am until dusk. (Unfortunately, insurance prohibits anyone in the fields after dark. If you plan on Choose & Cut tree, please arrive before 4:30 to allow time to cut your tree before dark).

  • We have bowsaws and tree carts available on a first come, first-served basis. You are welcome to bring your own hand saws. But no chain saws, please.

  • We have twine available for tying trees to your roof. But insurance prohibits us from doing it for you. (Don't be a rookie: Tie the tree with the stump facing forward!) TIP: Those nylon strap luggage tie downs are great for securing trees to roof racks. They're inexpensive and available at most hardware stores (and you'll use them for things besides Christmas trees. Trust me.)

  • Please do not drive your cars into the fields.

  • Dogs must be on leashes at all times, please.

  • If the lakes are frozen, please do not venture out onto the ice. It is not safe.
